Klifovet’s Barcelona Seminar on Development of Veterinary Medicinal Products attracted 30 people from eight countries

Startups and established pharma companies were equally interested

On October 3rd, the day before CPhI 2016, one of the largest pharma events worldwide, opened its gates in Barcelona, Klifovet AG offered an introduction to Animal Health product development at the Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB).

The PCB belongs to the University of Barcelona and offers biotech companies the possibility to rent laboratories and offices in a vital scientific environment. Together with their partner company Trifermed CBDO, the first Contract Business Development Organization, Klifovet offered an agenda that covered all aspects of product development for the animal health industry – on an introductory level.
The seminar was designed for biotech startups interested in animal health as well as for established companies that have been active primarily for human health before but are interested to enter the animal health market. Nearly 30 people gathered in room Dolors Aleu in the Cluster Building I of the PCP for an afternoon of talks, questions and answers, and networking sessions. Both biotech companies of all sizes from the PCB and elsewhere and pharmaceutical companies that came to Barcelona for the CPhI took the opportunity to get an overview on animal health product development and to network with the experts from Klifovet and Trifermed.

For both the participants and the organizers the event was very successful and enjoyable.
