Best Supporting Role
On 12th of October 2006, the Animal Pharm Industry Excellence Awards 2006 were celebrated in East Wintergarden, London, UK. Animal Pharm, the leading global animal health journal for the animal health industry, organised a challenging event with ~ 200 representatives being present at that first time ever awards ceremony.
An independent panel of judges of well known experts in the field of animal health had selected the winners from the proposals received in summer 2006.
KLIFOVET AG, the contract research organisation based in Munich, Germany, supporting the animal health industry in obtaining marketing organisation in Europe, was selected as the Winner Animal Pharm Industry Excellence Award 2006, "Best Supporting Role" for the animal health industry. This award, sponsored by Dow Agrosciences, US, was presented by Butch Mercier, the CEO of Dow AgroSciences to the founder and Managing Director of KLIFOVET AG, Dr. Klaus Hellmann.

The judges panel selected KLIFOVET AG based on their outstanding and client orientated performance in consulting and conducting mono- and multicenter clinical field studies for proving the efficacy of animal health products in Europe and their strategic approach.
KLIFOVET acted as the sponsor for the Animal Pharm Industry Excellence Award 2006: Best Veterinary Product - Companion Animals. The winner was Profender, BayerHealthCare Animal Health, as Best companion Animal Product.
